Polar Dip 2005
The Second Annual Polar Dip took place at high Noon January 01, 2005 at Stoner Boat Launch.

We counted 75 who attended the event, about 40 dipped. We have signed waivers for 43 people who took the plunge and were “cold to the bone”! to help raise awareness for bone health and the Virtual Osteoporosis Center. The money raised, $625.00 will be used for community education and to support all the efforts of the Virtual Osteoporosis Center.

Thank you to the following who were brave enough to dip: they included 2 hula girls, a cheesehead and Santa Clause. One whole family even took the plunge all together!

Next year we will repeat the event, with even a bigger and better pre-dip event.
